Preventative Botox is becoming increasingly popular among young adults. Many are curious as to why someone would choose to get Botox before they have wrinkles. Waiting until lines become etched into the skin make it is much more difficult to smooth out in the future. Preventative Botox can help slow down the aging process.
Here are some common questions about the procedure:

How do I know if I’m a candidate?

A candidate for preventative Botox doesn’t need to have signs of aging, although we recommend patients not to start too early. Generally candidates have very fine lines on their face when they smile or frown. These lines are likely to become permanent and more pronounced as they age.

How long does the procedure last?

Since the procedure is non-surgical, you will be finished in a matter of minutes. This is something you can have done during your lunch break!

Will there be any swelling?

We have years of experience working with Botox. The areas of injection do not show any signs of swelling from the procedure.

Are results instant?

Some results may appear after several minutes, but some results may take up to a week to set in.

How much Botox do I need?

Preventative Botox usually takes less units than the average Botox candidate. After an initial consultation with Dr. Crispin, we will evaluate how this procedure can benefit your appearance.

Are the results permanent?

Most patients notice significant results 3-4 days after injection, with maximum benefits at 2 weeks.
